Welcome to the
Woodlands Park Crown Green Bowling Club

Our home ground is located in idyllic surroundings in Kings Norton on land belonging to the Bournville Village Tenants . We have two purpose built Bowling Greens and a Club House.

We have an active Social life with events going on throughout the year. This includes various Social events, Club holidays, a Walking group, a library, a Whist Drive during the Winter, An Open Day, a Presentation Lunch and a Christmas Party.

Every afternoon during the season we have what is called a ' roll-up' where names of those present  are drawn at random and result in wonderful afternoons of competitive bowling.

During the year we have 28  social matches against Clubs in the area, these tend to run at weekends. Good fun and again very competitive.

We also have our annual Club Knock-Out Competitions which are played throughout  the Season. The finals are decided during a weekend in September.

We first entered a team in the South and West Birmingham league in 2004. This created a new interest for our members and we now  have seven teams playing during the week. Three on Tuesday mornings in South and West, one on Wednesday evening in Yardley Wood and District plus three on Friday mornings in the Heart of England League.
